This is how you relate to yourself, and everyone around you. Every single relationship - every day. At home. At work. In community.
This is human development. This is the path to a better life.
Our curriculum guides you through five essential sessions based on interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and the principles of human growth and development. Each step builds upon the last, creating a comprehensive sequence to calm your nervous system and develop secure connections in all of your relationships.
BetterLove brings together decades of research, integrating core principles of relational development, neurobiology, anthropology, spirituality, and accessible real life applications, this curriculum develops an understanding of who we are, and what we can become.
Created by relational development specialists Sara Place and Melissa Ander, our curriculum brings 20 years of practice based evidence, which translates complex concepts into accessible, practical applications benefitting your mental health, quality of life, and lived experience in every domain.
The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Yet most of us were never taught the skills needed for meaningful, sustainable connection that is the foundation to our healthy development as human beings.
Through video lessons, experiential exercises, and the BetterLove Manual, you’ll develop the capacity to be in transformative relationships, learn how relationships connect to your own development, and what becomes possible from a regulated and connected state.
Our comprehensive approach combines education, practice, and personalized support for groups of all sizes, from couple and individual development, to families, small groups of 10-20, and large group workshops of 50+ people:

This is not a relationship program for couples. This is for every relationship, in every context across every domain. If you want to change the world, this is how you begin.
You are in a relationship. With yourself and everyone around you. Your friends, your colleagues, your family, your community. This is a program of human development.
Many participants report immediate insights and improvements in their lived experiences after beginning our courses. However, lasting change typically develops over the first 90 days as you practice your new skills consistently. The most behavioral change happens in this initial period as you break through old habits and establish new patterns. Our curriculum is specifically designed to support this crucial period of neural pathway development, with each movement building upon the previous one. Remember that building secure attachment is a journey, not a destination, and the skills continue to deepen with practice.
Our courses are delivered through our secure Teachable platform, making learning convenient and accessible anywhere. Each course follows our developmental framework, with clear modules containing video lessons, practical exercises, and downloadable resources. Content is presented in digestible segments, allowing you to progress at your own pace while integrating the concepts into your daily life. All materials remain accessible after completion, so you can revisit them whenever you need a refresher. The platform also includes progress tracking, allowing you to see your journey through the five key movements of our attachment-based curriculum. Whether you prefer intensive learning or a more gradual approach, our flexible format adapts to your schedule and learning style.
